Canon se sube al tren del Full Frame

Finalmente Canon saca un modelo Full Frame después de que Sony estrenara la Venice, Arri ofreciera la Alexa LF ( y Alexa 65) y Red su Monstro 8K Vista Vision. Parece que la marca no se quiere quedar atrás de la fiebre Full Frame. El nuevo modelo parece la C700 S35 pero el sensor es completamente nuevo con tecnología de estreno. No se podrían actualizar las antiguas C700 a este formato.

La nueva C700 tiene un sensor con proporción 17×9 and y ofrece 5.9K de resolución (5952 x 3140). Con un círculo de imagen de 43,1mm, lo que la hace muy similar a la Sony Venice y algo mas pequeño que la Alexa LF.

La Canon C700 puede ofrecer imágenes en 4K mediante un “oversampling” de 5,9K lo que produce una increíble calidad. También incluye el ya famoso Dual Pixel CMOS AF (DAF) Technology que ayuda con la precisión del foco.

Focus Guide
Display available focus status or unfocused status using the AF signal. It is useful while MF or One-Shot AF is not being performed. When the AF frame is set to movable, the guide display can be moved to any position by operating the joystick. If the AF frame is xed to the center of the display, the guide can be moved independently of the xed AF frame. The guide can be displayed in the main frame or sub frame. When displaying, the main and sub frames will be swapped with every SET operation.
